We are Hannes and Nore, two youngsters from Belgium. Among the many things we have in common, our love for the outdoors and adventure is one of them. Wether it’s skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking or anything in between, we like that!

In the summer of 2023, we rode our bikes from Antwerp, Belgium to the North Cape, the northernmost point in Europe, situated in Norway. It was a step up from shorter trips and at the same time a try out for what we have been planning for the next year.

We built this blog to document our biggest undertaking so far: in January 2024 we start(ed) riding our bikes from Cartagena, Colombia southbound with Patagonia as our goal. It will serve as a supplement for our PolarSteps on which we will rather write daily reports.

Here we want to share practical info, travel stories, photography and hope to answer any questions you might have. We’re excited and look forward to what this journey will bring. 

For Nore it’s the first time out Europe. Hannes, on the other hand, has been to Bolivia and Chile multiple times, even to ride his bike.
